EEW is designed as an intensive four day

 

JOB SEARCH SKILLS &

CAREER TRANSITION

 

program, delivered by an Employment Industry Expert.

It will raise the level of confidence and self esteem of the job seeker, and provide them with valuable insight into how to gain the right role in the least amount of time.

 

Our aim is to INSPIRE – ASSIST – SECURE – ADVANCE your future training and career,
as well as
ENHANCE other areas of your life that may help you reach both your Personal and Professional goals!

 

An example of the EEW timetable and units for the scheduled 4 days:

  • Introduction to the EEW

  • Career Assessment (determine the careers that you are most suited to)

  • Examining Skills and Attributes

  • Building Confidence and Self Esteem

  • Examining Existing Resume

  • Writing/Drafting and Construction of Professional Resume

  • Examining Existing Cover Letter

  • Writing and Drafting Cover Letters

  • Dealing with Objections/Rejections

  • Telephone Techniques

  • Approaching Employer Techniques

  • Interview Techniques including Behavioural Interviewing and Assessment Centres

  • Mock Interviews (practise interview techniques)

  • What to Expect from Recruitment Agencies

  • Job Search Tools

  • Dressing for Success Fieldtrip

  • Work Experience and Employment Searching

  • Access to automated Police Check system which enables participants to have completed Police Check back to them usually within 24-48 hrs and no lengthy, confusing paperwork to fill out! (*)

(*) Automated Police check is $39.95 which must be received by PWG prior to the Police Check being submitted. Students will also be assisted in completing other relevant forms and applications relating to employment such as working with children’s checks.




The EEW is provided FREE to students enrolled in an accredited course with Pow Wow Training as well as being available to the general public at a cost of $99.
